What is the origin of the CIJAN and its impact in the industry?
CIJAN derives its name from the Xishui River, symbolizing the ability to overcome all difficulties and move forward, just like water. The company’s headquarters and the manufacturing base for passenger vehicle shock absorbers are located in Xichuan County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, which is also the source of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project in China. Historically known as Danyang, Xichuan was the early capital of the ancient Chu Kingdom and an important birthplace of Chu culture. This area has also produced significant historical figures, including the renowned merchant sage Fan Li.
Founded in 1951, the Nanyang CIJAN Automotive Shock Absorber Co., Ltd. is a publicly listed group company primarily engaged in the production of automotive shock absorbers, automotive gears, as well as shock absorbers for subways, trains, and high-speed trains. The company oversees five subsidiaries located in Italy, Shanghai, Nanyang, and Xichuan. CIJAN is recognized as a national high-tech enterprise and houses a CNAS-certified laboratory specific to the shock absorber industry in China. Additionally, it holds national recognition as an enterprise technology center and has established the first domestically-developed automated production line for semi-active shock absorbers. Notably, it is also the only manufacturer in China to have received certification from CRRC for high-speed train shock absorbers.

What is CIJAN's development strategy for the aftermarket?
In recent years, the aftermarket shock absorber products in China have experienced polarization. On one hand, low-end brands are competing on price, leading to intense low-end competition among distribution channels. On the other hand, international brands overlook the aftermarket, remaining aloof. The pain points in the market and channels stem from the slow turnover of shock absorber products, high inventory pressure, and shortage of brand-backed products, resulting in declining profits.
CIJAN will leverage its brand and technological advantages. On one hand, it will assist repair companies in selling shock absorbers to accelerate product turnover. On the other hand, utilizing CIJAN's technological and brand strengths, it will develop high-tech, high-quality, and highly profitable products to help distributors escape the vortex of low-price competition. We believe that based on CIJAN’s decades of focused experience and strength in the main engine market, along with continuous investment in research and development and ongoing improvements in management, CIJAN will undoubtedly find its precise positioning in the aftermarket, serving a wide range of automotive consumers!
